Huzhou HealthDigit Inc. Huzhou HealthDigit Inc (HHD) is focused on the development
of breakthrough clinical protein-chip detection systems for human disease.
The company site is located in Huzhou Economic and Technical Development
Zone, an area offering advantages for transportation, investing and every
lifestyle-from city (Shanghai) conveniences, to beautiful suburban neighborhoods,
to rural tranquility.
Huzhou HealthDigit Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shanghai HealthDigit
Inc. (SHD), internationally recognized as a center of excellence in development
of protein-chip with a first class manufacture facility. HHD is SHD's
platform for combining novel human disease biomarker discovery with highly
efficient and proven biosensor approaches to develop protein-chip system.
HHD has a land about 66,600 square meters. Its development projects cover
three-term of period. The first step finished by 2002was to build protein-chip
manufacturing workshop. The second is going to update manufacturing workshop
and set up the HD-2001A Chip Reader manufacturing workshop, the Quality
Control Center and the public affair building followed by the third one
including the Constructions of the welfare, the administration, the service
management center and the manufacturing workshop for antibody &antigen.
With the initial investment of RMB 20 million, Huzhou HealthDigit Inc.
maintains advanced facilities to carry out collaborative projects in molecular
biology and biochemical engineering, including: Microarrers, Lypholiser,
Spectrophotometer, Plate Reader and Mass Spectrometry System, etc. The
manufacturing workshop designed and constructed according to GMP standard
totally currently has a space of 18,600 square meters including 2,600square
meters clean rooms for separation and purification (class 10,000 and 10,000)
specifically for core protein-chip production.
On May 10th, 2002, Huzhou HealthDigit Inc. launched an opening ceremony
for its manufacturing factory. The first protein-chip manufacturing line
based in Huzhou, China has been officially started in the globe.
